Version 2.0 — in force from 2026-09-01
Courtesy translation; the Polish version prevails in case of discrepancy.
§1. What this Policy covers
- This document describes how Amator stores information on your terminal device and accesses it — in line with Article 371 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024 (which replaced Article 173 of the former Telecommunications Law) and with the GDPR.
- The controller is AMATOR SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ — details in the Privacy Policy.
§2. General rule
- Amator uses no marketing, advertising or tracking cookies, performs no cross-site tracking and uses no ad networks.
- We use only technologies strictly necessary to deliver the service you ask for; these require no consent (Article 371(3)(2) of the Electronic Communications Law).
- If we ever introduce analytics or marketing tools, we will ask for your prior consent, and refusing will be as easy as agreeing.
§3. What exactly we store on your device
| Technology | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
localStorage |
chosen language, theme, basic interface settings | until app or browser data is cleared |
sessionStorage (browser version only) |
keeping the session alive during a single visit | until the tab is closed |
IndexedDB |
local cache of lists (cities, venues, events, accepted documents) so the app is fast and usable on a poor connection | until sign-out or data is cleared |
| Mobile app SQLite database | the same working data, in the native version | until app data is removed |
| Session / authentication token | keeping you signed in | until sign-out or token expiry |
| Push notification token | delivering notifications about your Events | until notifications are disabled or the Account is deleted |
| Image cache | thumbnails of avatars, logos and banners | cleared periodically by the system |
| Web-layer update bundle (Capgo) | delivering fixes without a store update | until the next version is installed |
| Sentry error event identifier | linking a crash report to a diagnostic session | up to 12 months |
These stores hold no personal data in clear form beyond what is needed to keep your session and to cache data you already see in the App.
§4. Browser version and the information website
- The browser version (https://web.amator.app) may use strictly necessary cookies only: session maintenance, security (CDN abuse protection) and remembering the language version.
- The information website https://amator.app may use visit-statistics tools; where such a tool requires consent, we ask for it in a banner on that site.
§5. How you control this
- Mobile app: system settings → app data → clear data; push notifications can be turned off in system or App settings.
- Browser: privacy settings let you delete
localStorage, sessionStorage,IndexedDBand cookies and block their storage; private mode also helps. - Disabling strictly necessary technologies prevents signing in and using the App — that is a technical consequence, not a fault.
§6. Changes
Changes are announced in the App at least 14 days in advance. Questions: [email protected].
